If you like fishing, legendary fish -> fish ponds -> age the roe & sell
If you like the caves -> grind materials in skull cavern, make iridium sprinklers -> ancient fruit + starfruit wine empire
As far as making things pretty, I usually pick a couple farms from reddit that inspire me and base my design off of that!
How do you take a picture like this?
If you grow ancient fruit or starfruit in your greenhouse, and/or on your farm at ginger Island, you could easily produce enough fruit to fill 2 deluxe sheds worth of kegs. It makes really good money. I’m terrible at decorating though to good luck with that!
They don’t make a ton of money, but i do like a few fish ponds too. Yellow cucumber fish give you lucky lunches and surgeons give caviar which you can age in casks once you have a basement. Also lava eels are good for money too

You will find so much design inspiration there and you can also sort your search by map type. Don’t let the immaculate look of the perfection farms overwhelm or pressure you, just take little bits and pieces of ideas and incorporate what you like over time based on what’s accessible to you.
You’re probably going to want to put grass starters under all of your fence posts. They’ll spread but the bits under the fencing won’t be eaten. Remember to drop grass starters throughout the animal pen/farm for major spring growth at the change of seasons.
Add some more random trees here and there and some mushroom logs!
Set up a cute beehive area with a spot to sow grow the most profitable honey flower of the season (for spring, that’s blue jazz). I like to box a basic sprinkler and a flower into the middle of the beehive arrangement so I can’t accidentally pick the flower while collecting honey once it’s grown.
You could build some fish ponds and plan for a stable.
In winter I like to get more pigs and pet them every day, so they’re fat and happy and productive come spring (especially with lots of fresh grass to eat). Iridium truffles are a main source of income for me. Need botanist profession for iridium quality. I don’t even bother processing them into oil first, though if you have the time that will yield a bit more in profits as well.
You probably know this some of this stuff already but I hope that helps.
I’m getting a weird feeling I’m not sure why but I think now I’m just throwing this out there correct me if I’m wrong but I think you like purple
