I started playing Minecraft Dungeons on Steam the last couple months. I bought the deluxe edition with all the DLC's (this doesn't include premium passes) and played normally for the first 60 hours. The only problem I experienced was getting none of the cosmetics from the passes, just the cosmetics that came with the deluxe edition.
This didn't bother me to much because I didn't really care for them. My main issue was whenever it started disconnecting me from Mojang servers and saying "Unable to verify you own the game". Then I was locked out of certain features that required connection to Mojang servers and allow them to "verify you own the game" including things like the tower, daily trials, the adventure hub, etc.
Obviously this caused me to contact Mojang support/Minecraft help. After dozens of back and forth emails with them they literally gave up and said it's a personal issue. So now I guess I'm done playing the game now and can go f**k myself😂
Thanks Mojang! Legendary as always🍻💪

Contact steam since that’s where you brought the game from
With daily trials and the tower, those require that the game knows what the daily trial is and what season of the tower you are on, which requires he game to connect to mojang servers
And this would be a problem that the devs could solve but support is mostly useless in this situation
Some licensing and verification issues are solved by ensuring your device’s clock is synced. Try the sync now button in your clock settings in windows.
Buying a things via third parties makes it much easier for support for the thing to shrug off issues such a customer has.
Never played on steam but does it still require you to sign in with a Microsoft account? If it’s a ownership issue you need to check that you’re signing in with the correct account. I’ve had issues where I was signed in to different accounts in the windows store and the xbox app. If you have the Minecraft launcher, check that as well. They’re all linked it seems. Like check which account actually owns the dungeons game and make sure you’re signed in with that.
looks like the mods need a coffee break, this one slipped through
Well if there was “lots of back and forth” they must have made you try anything that could indicate an issue on their side and gave you the solutions for all the known, common issues (e.g. restarts, verifying/reinstalling the game, etc.)
If your case is isolated and they ruled out server issues on their side, do you expect them to allocate a personal IT expert to fix your setup just because you bought a 20€ game?
Try steam support and if that also fails, refund it. Unless you want to try on a freshly reinstalled OS.
i had something similar happen, took ages to resolve. hope you get it sorted soon
I lost access to my minecraft account. Could not recover my account despite having the email with the receipt of purchase. My account was permanently closed with no chance of appeal.
🤷♂️ Guess I’m done giving them money.
I had a similar issue . It ended up being that I had signed in to two different Microsoft accounts on my PC including in a browser. I had to log out of everything Microsoft and then log back in with only a single account.
