In fairness, they are going to start giving many more back to you once you max out the pond.
(Now I need to build a pond for stingrays so I can stop having to grind the volcano for dragon teeth…)

Get a burglar’s ring kill 2-3 lava lurks they have 15% chance to drop one with monster compendium and burglar’s ring you’ll easily get 1-2 killing 2-3 lava lurks…i had a run for island obelisks got 14 teeth killing them in 3 days

Omg I just satisfied the pond with that after building the obelisk! Took forever!

Stingray ponds were never worth it for me in the long run. I can bag 2 stingray pond’s month worth of produce in single volcano dungeon run.
