Unrelated, but if you ever have trouble with wings on mobile and have a bundle of horseshoe balloons, use lilith’s Necklace in hardmode. They’re dropped by wolves in the snow biome at night. If you set up a farm/arena there, you can get it easily. You can also start a bloodmoon to maybe get the bananarang from the clown as well. For pre-hardmode, after skeletron, the golfcart is great.

Terraria uses a set day/night cycle with no seasons afaik. It doesn’t care where you are or what time it is.
