I am having the same problems after the update. Cannot sign in to Microsoft at all. Just sits there flickering.

This is the third thread I’ve seen about this now, so it seems we’re all in great company. I can’t log in on Bedrock PS5 either, and I tried restarting my PS5, logging out and back in to my PSN account, checking my internet connection, deleting my saved data for Minecraft on my system, and re-linking my Minecraft game to my Microsoft account. Nothing works. I guess they broke something with their recent update and we’ll need to wait for a fix. In the meantime, I guess I’m playing Elden Ring

Do you know how anyone can even tell the minecraft team that their stuff is broke? It doesn’t seem like they know.
