Wanted to expand my barn but accidentally trapped myself. Thought i'd be fine but apparently you can't break and pick up fences like other furniture and I left my axe outside.
If anyone knows a way i can escape without collapsing from exhaustion and getting robbed, i'd like to know.

Do you have wood? I think if you make a gate you can just replace a segment of the fence.
Since your solution seems to have been given, may I offer a: why fence in the animals? If they free range you don’t have to worry about them being able to eat.
