Depends on what you consider playing right as there isn’t any objectivly best was to play it. If maximum profit is your way to play Stardew righ then you’re playing right

No, you can lay it out in such a manner that you walk in and go in a circuit and don’t have to backtrack.

Soon you will be looking into making a shed with crops…and then the farm will only be filled with sheds.
As you look back at your farm you start to realize, why does my farm look so dead. Then you remember the decisions that you led there…
Plant my crops in soil? Why must I waste that space when I can put a perfectly made shed in there and put some crops inside?
Edit: but seriously, I went down that rabbit hole and had multiple sheds with a bunch of regrowable crops, kegs and preserve jars.
