Uhh guys why no mimics spawn in my farm I built, its in forest with natural walls, 200 blocks wide and im above ground with battle potion and water candle. Any help would be awesome, trying to get cross necklace

Just to clarify, I don’t technically know that this is true (I don’t build farms), but I believe mimics only spawn in the underground and lower. That’s why you never see mimics above ground.
You are too high
To my knowledge, that should be absolutely fine, so I’m not sure why you’re not getting any. Are you sure they’re not just rarer than you thought?
Here’s what i think is the actual problem:
– Place lava on the edges of the pit so that slimes don’t spawn ouside of it and ruin the spawn rate.
– You might be standing too close to the ground, try adjusting the height until enemies spawn under you.
– Mimics are not common so always use water candles and battle potions (as you are) and be patient.
Mimics CAN spawn in front of natural dirt walls on the surface so i ensure you that isn’t the problem. I tried it myself in the past.
