Jeb classes Elder Guardians as mini-bosses and they were referred to as bosses when added to Bedrock Edition.

Warden shouldn’t count.
It has high damage and a high health pool but:
No boss health bar
No unique reward (Drops less experience than The Wither, far less than the dragon as well)
Not designed to be fought on purpose (Wither summoned intentionally, End Portal has to be found and filled)
Designed explicitly to be avoided
Doesn’t even have an Advancement associated with killing it

Elder guardian is mini boss I think, warden is kinda a boss but it not meant to kill it so I don’t count it, vindicator is also sort of a mini boss, illusioner isn’t in the game and ravager is more of just a big mob I guess, does the creaking count?

Yeah I guess but we have gotten a lot of structures with combat in them like the sea temple, villager outposts and trial chambers, so who cares really

For people saying the warden is a boss: if the coolest thing you can do with a boss is to put it in a cage for display, then it is not a boss.

If you’d like to experience a mini boss fight, use dispensers to equip a baby zombie riding a spider or chicken with maxed out netherrite gear. OR, even better is find an adult zombie/skeleton riding a camel husk and gear them BOTH up.

Doubt a hard enemy will get added, people now get anxiety when a creeper explodes a few blocks
