I'll get a new pc for my birthday in a few weeks (~5) but in the meanwhile dose anyone know an adventure modpack for these specs (for reference I ran at 10fps 150 tech mods)

Also this is the best tag I could think of. Sry if it's not the right category.

I’m sorry, but you are seemingly out of options. You can do your own modpack and add some lightweight datapack-type structure mods though.

You said you’re on windows 10. Please, PLEASE switch to linux, ubuntu is the best starter one. You need everything you can get. You can have Ubuntu and windows 10 at the same time and just choose which one to use on start up.

Ubuntu lets you choose desktops when you log-in (start your pc), so you could install a super light-weight desktop so you can run basically nothing but the game.

PrismLauncher is the most lightweight choice for playing minecraft. Then add a bunch of optimization mods depending on your version.

Depending on what sort of modpack you want, it may be pretty possible to play. Most modpacks you can find in places like curseforge are built for god PCs and poorly optimized, so your best bet is making one on your own.

The RAM is rough. Sky Factory 2.5? The other specs would allow plenty of packs to be playable (15-20FPS at least). Not adventure though.

unfortunately there are very few lightweight modpacks, creators are mostly hobbyists pursuing their own creative freedom. besides, a pack would be considered ‘lightweight’ if it can run on an 8gb machine, never mind 4

pick some worldgen and content mods you are interested in. check system monitor, & if there is consistently ram to spare, you can add more

follow all the advice on the Polytetrafluoroethylene MC Optimization Guide, & consider running an older MC version

  5. Dude you have 4 gigs of ram. You can add 7090 and 119800x3d it will be unstable anyways
