A couple days ago, I was recovering from surgery, bored, and wanted to do something productive. So, at 1 am I made a post: suggest an armor set and I’ll add it, no questions asked. I expected to get a handful of replies. Instead, I woke up to about a hundred people giving me suggestions!!
So, I’ve spent the last couple days trying to grind through as many ideas as I could. While I only got through a couple, this was honestly some of the most productive I’ve been in weeks, and I doubled the amount of armors I had! I was only able to fulfill a fraction of the requests, but it was a damn good time.
Anyways, onto the actual mod:
Bird Muncher’s Cosmetics Closet is designed to be a resource for any kind of player. Do you need armor sets for your modpack? Every armor has its own ID. Need cool outfits for a vanilla+ server? Guess what! All the armors have diamond stats by default, so are perfectly balanced. Just wanna look cool? I do too. This mod should help.
In addition, there’s still lots to come, including dyeable components, accessories, and a config-based customization system.
Thank you so much to everyone who’s submitted ideas, they’ve all been written down in a giant spreadsheet that I’ll be working on regularly. There’s loads more armors to come, hopefully!
Also, for the curious: zero AI or Mcreator was used, just good old fashioned human neurodivergence.
