I use them for fiber seeds
They ruin my farm symmetry, I'm a pvz player so I let them sit in the gardening seed chest for all eternity.

Mixed seeds are especially useful on day 1, when money is super scarce. You can get 3 out of 4 community center spring crops from mixed seeds, you only need to buy a single bean starter and you're good.
I can confirm that you can get artichokes in year 1 from mixed seeds, I have done it.
I love pineapple as a crop
I see them in my seed chest and think 'I should plant those sometime'
I plant them if i dont wanna buy seeds to keep my fields tilled and dont have the fiber seed recipe
I use them year one. Once I start making more money and especially when I get a seed maker, I stop using the mixed seeds for crops and use them to make stuff (forgot what recipes they are used for off the top of my head). I learned from someone else's youtube video that you can get mixed flower seeds if you use a scythe on the fiber bush spots in summer. I use mixed flower seeds when I run out of seasonal flowers for my beehouses.
