I’m rlly bad at redstone and don’t know how it rlly works but found a yt vid on how to build a 1×1 hole entrance with pistons that opens the hole and u drop down and it works well but the time the hole stays open is too short because I want to drop down into a wind charge launcher and have time to launch out with the roof still being open so need the hole to be open for about 10s. I don’t know how to keep the piston non extended for longer and repeaters didn’t work. I searched it up and I saw a vid on an etho hopper clock and made one but i was only for keeping a piston extended for a certain amount of time and not keeping one retracted and don’t know how to fix it. Could someone pls help me with this I’m really lost. Also I don’t have a lot of space to work with as it’s in a pillar of a bridge in a secret cave.

Look up a pulse extender, that could probably work since you can tweak how long they last. they are a 2×3 footprint to start.
Basically have two comparators running in opposite directions, one runs into a block. (here is a bad diagram)

First of all, that’s not an etho hopper clock. That’s a different hopper clock design. Also you shouldn’t use a clock at all for what you’re trying to do.
You need a pulse extender. The simplest would be a comparator pulse extender like below. You can change the length by changing the amount of comparators.
