I just got a prismatic shard from a cave bug it was a 0.05 percent chance of happening

If you have a meteorite on your farm, you can basically force it to give you a prismatic shard by breaking it and restarting the day if you don’t get one. Then don’t try breaking it again until the next day. Eventually, you’ll get it. Same goes for the mystic stones in the quarry or iridium nodes on your farm if you have hilltop or four corners.
You can also play around with the order you open geodes and mystery boxes. You can observe a pattern in what you get, then restart and try breaking another type of geode first to move it along the progression. This is harder to explain but I have substituted for things I don’t want and progressed further to get shards or other rare items.

I've had different luck on various playthroughs. On my Haley run I got over 20 by year 3. On my first perfection run I maybe only found 12 by year 4

Excellent video JB!!! My previous playthru i guess i was lucky! i got 3 meteorites and got the galaxy sword SUPER early; this time? 3 years in – not a prismatic shard in sight!
Small thing. Iridium golems only spawn on the wilderness farm
I thought the treasure hunter didn't increase the chance of a fishing chest, just made retrieval easier. But I could be wrong!
