Keep the capes in Dungeons. Cashing in on FOMO to generate artficial hype is already an iffy practice. At least keep it contained to the title it was made for.

assuming the DLC's aren't just cosmetic and actually contain playable content, the idea of a Deluxe Edition coming with DLC is actually something I'm down with: you're paying about $10 per DLC. Cool stuff.
I like the idea of capes being across all the games too! It's such an amazing concept, but i don't think Mojang will do that.
I'm actually pretty happy they locked out the capes. The sales numbers would be insanely skewed at launch with so many ppl buying the game just to have the cape and not actually playing it.
seeing as they love to change the argument for /gamemode (although to be fair, it has been the same for a while now, but i still default to numerical values), i just choose not to use that command at all anymore. F3+F4 is gold, but not with this new change

We dont need to canonize and add a painting of a dude that plays a character in a movie about a video game.
If they want to add it so much, they need to make it steve in the original minecraft style.
All paintings are pixelated and then theres one realistic fat dude holding a pixel flame, its just way out of place.

The original Dungeons game did have quite a few exclusive capes. I don't think these capes will make it to the base game.
I was almost going to preorder the game just to get the two new capes, but they don't transfer to Minecraft Java Edition. What a shame.

im tired of exclusivity… its not fun anymore. like tell me why mojang decided to make a PRIDE cape 3 years ago and its unobtainable now? that doesnt make sense to me. not to mention the lack of communication (everything new to the game i find out comes from you) example they failed to share the info about the cherry blossom cape during the last mob and how to get it. its stupid and i hate it

/defaultgamemode exists???? Did Mojang forget how their own game works? They have before, and seeing them play it shows they don't know.
And what's this game mode hardcode bug stuff? I'm out of the loop. Why would it set your gamemode back to survival when you rejoin???? That should never happen at all, like it saves your gamemode, how?! This is what a faulty server plugin would do when you switch between multiple world files.
I wouldn't be surprised if they be coding this with AI, because that is quite literally what AI is incredibly good at when coding: going back and ruining something that works.
And besides why even have a sequel for the game y'all literally canned just because of legends? Indie studios are not immune to corporatism, this applies to them all, you see it right you see them (the popular ones at least) acting more like it.

Minecraft could be so much better but they appeal to kids too much now with capes, micro transactions, and updates that don’t make much sense. Minecraft movie is just a fracture of what’s to come. I’d love for the same cape cosmetically to be avalible across all versions of the game, but I’m hopeful that if they do put the dungeons capes in Minecraft they won’t be tied to dungeons purchases. Not everyone likes or is interested in all games, so not tying rewards in one game to purchases in the other is ideal imo. I imagine players only interested in dungeons would feel the same way about capes from Minecraft.
