Community Center Through the Power of Planty Mush | Stardew Valley Mr Samuel Streamer Experience #43

Grandpa, having died from big ligma, has bequeathed his grandson, Planty Mush, his farm, and an building that should rightfully be checked for asbestos by the correct authorities.

Now Planty Mush must brave the dangers of this very serious RPG inspired modpack, and somehow survive the supercolonies of black mold that is posing as the mayor of this once fine and respectable town.

  1. especially the crib you want to oil in cooking oil since your baby will chomp down on every surface it can find, so yeah hard to tell your baby no no don't do that it's lead paint. Doesn't really work out to well^^

  2. iirc the reason the quarry is filled with shards is because it counts as floor 77377?
I got infected, I caught myself calling Gus, Mario…. what have I become

  3. christ planty mush can walk into a doctors office and just get seen right away even for something minor like a checkup
no fighting with the receptionist and being palmed off on some idiot that doesnt listen to you and can hardly speak english
we know stardew valley isnt set in england then

  4. The pop-up wiki you open to find out what people like also tells where they are currently. See if you can trigger it with the portraits in the friends menu. Maybe you can find the Mister Gingers' location with that.

  5. Ah yes the philosophies of soup. Let me ask you this. Is you taking a bath a human soup?
Edit: The witch trying to rizz up the psychic(pokemon) seems pretty thematic

  6. It might be useful to use a rain totem if you have one. It will open up the new bundle and allow you to buy the mermaid pendant for marriage from the mariner on the beach. It's not necessary, but otherwise you will have to wait for a rainy day in spring for these things because snow will not work.

  7. Prismatic statues accelerate whatever machines they're in the same automate network with. 3 statues doubles the production speed. Any more than 3 is useless.

  8. 5:05 Damn that explains why the farm went to shit if Grandpa was hooked on dust. It also gives us some insight into Morshu and Big Keith's issues if Morshu was prioritizing his fairy dust empire over his family.

    Drugs are no joke.

  9. With mod you have you need to upgrade your frying pan – it works like upgrading your trash can, you don't need to bring the tool with you, just copper bars. Still a pain in the ass tho

  10. With the info mod, you can hover over someone's name in the social tab and hit F1, and part of the info card should show their schedule for the day, which could help in locating the elusive Mr. Ginger (or at least show that he's in some pseudo-location off map)

  11. Given you're only gonna get animal products from the animals, you might as well put the mayo/cheese machines in the barn side rooms. Might save you some time from trying to manage over-packed inventories getting everything into one place. And you can automate the grabbers to just deposit the stuff in the machines immediately without you having to move it around.

IIRC, the auto-petter doesn't increase animal affection, just prevents it dropping. You still have to actually pet them to get the friendship shit going.

Also, that Prismatic Statue is a mod. They speed up the network of automate machines they're linked to, even if you only put them next to the chests and not the machines themselves. There's apparently a setting for how many statues in the mod menu, but I think the base is three statues double the normal speed?

For the invisible machines, you could pick them up, put down a floor, and then put the machine over it so you know there's something there more easily? Might be a little more work than its worth though. 😀

  12. For the wet argument, I offer some wise ponderings from the great philosophers They Might Be Giants: "Is he a dot, or is he a speck? When he's underwater does he get wet, or does the water get him instead? Nobody knows. Particle Man."

The aquarium in the community center can also be decorated with fish and crab pot critters that swim around.

  13. Since you're on a kick of playing heavily modded old favorites, how about Mount & Blade II: Warband? you can get pretty nuts with that game, too.

  14. 1:02:19 just a heads up but with the automate set up on big chest 2 think that the wrong option was changed to be never take items from this chest rather then never put items in this chest, could imagine this being a pain down the line when the fish dont get smoked or other things processed from this chest

  15. Start at the center of town (the eye-shaped design in the cobbles), Follow the direction of each arrow until your character is stopped by an obstacle. I actually remember doing that one a long time ago and having to look it up

  16. Recommend the "Big Fridges" Mod, which just adds (get this) a Big Fridge that you can buy from Robin.
It's like the Big Chest equivalent. It's more expensive and works right away.

Thanks for the Stardew Mr Qimmer!

  17. i had this on my second monitor while i was playing another game with fishing and i heard the bobber alert sound so i tried to real in the fish in my game only to be met with nothing.
