Am I the only one who absolutely HATES Linus and Krobus with a Passion? I just don't like them in general.
For example, if you give Krobus Void Mayonaise, he'll say "This smells delicious! I'll eat half, and use the other half to moisturize my body!” Like I did NOT need to hear that, that's just absolutely disgusting. I never knew why or maybe I just missed out on the lore on why he does this. He also claims his "Stock" is scavenged from the places around him. But if you ACTUALLY bother to look deeper inside him, you'd know that both the Solar & Void Essence can ONLY be obtained through Monsters and Fishes excluding his own shop. So realistically, there's only one explanation. He kills innocent living beings and his own Family just to get Free G from YOu, the Player.
And for Linus, it isn't that much better. Bro does things I can't explain in that tent during his 4-Heart Event. Not to mention we allow him to skinny-dip inside the Mountain Lakes, or whatever you call them. He also just wants to be in the situation he is now? And his gifts make no sense at all. He refuses to take 5000g from the Treasure Chest but gladly accepts Diamonds that go for 750g each. Explain why he doesn't want MONEY but wants Minerals that cost MONEY. Especially since they are HARD to find. He also digs around in trash which is already a red flag on its own.
I just don't get why people love these two so much. Maybe I missed out on some lore that makes their actions redeemable, maybe it's pity, maybe I'm just clinically INSANE (Actually, I don't know about that either)
So can someone PLEASE kindly explain to me why SDV Lovers love these 2 Characters?
