Muramasa is a classic Terraria weapon, obtained by defeating Skeletron and the raiding the Dungeon. There was a time where Muramasa was considered a strong sword, but the game has changed a lot since then, so where does Muramasa stand nowadays?

True, it's like made to only be part of the crafting recipe for Night's Edge. Maybe they should just add/transfer it's slashing effect to the Katana sold by Wandering Trader or something.
I'd say aside from nights edge, by the time you reach skeletron as a meele player you would probably have the volcano, which is WAYY better.
If only they can add Judgement cuts projectiles on it
At this point I always have Volcano and Rush Nights Edge
