The new update is Roblox Kids and Roblox Select and Roblox developers are being forced to buy Roblox Plus to create games on Roblox and now Roblox is now being litigated with a roblox lawsuit.

    Roblox… the game we used to love, the game we used to play everyday after coming back from school, the game we played with our friends, the game we made memories with, all of it turned into an utterly dystopian mess, all because of greed, ignorance. It's sickening, all of the history, all of the games, all the culture, stabbed in the back by a ceo we once called good. Greed.

    i know it would be alot of work, but most roblox games could be remade into free steam games. (just look at unturned, which was previously a roblox game albeit it looks nothing like it. It still has an active playerbase even though its over 10 years old and pretty much only receives updates in the form of community made maps.)
    there are two main issues with this however
    for games intended to be played multiplayer, they would need to implement their own servers or peer to peer system
    microtransactions are frowned upon much more in the wider gaming community outside of the roblox bubble, which could reduce profits.

    As someone who made a destruction game on roblox that was a victim of this takedown, this really hurts. Especially since no other game engine out there has destruction physics like Roblox does. Unless there is one that I don't know about.

    i want david and the others that want terrible updates to genuinely get murdered

    they have taken down games i have played so much that i will never be able to play again (which mind you, let me make new friends and such) because the owners moved on or just gave up on roblox

    its saddening what they've done for the so called safety of this platform

    roblox responded and apparently the "legacy" games thanos snap is a bug. but they will still remain only accessible to 16+ age checked users obviously. also apparently they are still working to manually rate all games that had +1k visits and inactive developers. so yea at least theres a tiny bandaid for the amputated limb

    Hi so I dont think you remember me but. i commented my story with ryths YouTube channel and how i wasn't doing to well but I was just wondering if you were going to make more videos about his situation he hasn't done anything that's worse then what he's already been doing but I was just wondering if you were going to male a video discussing how he went from short form content to long form age in and never learning his lesson on how's his words impact people I'm just saying as he's never changes his attitude towards people or just his audience I dont think he has posted anymore clearly 18+ content but his old ones are still up I'm pretty sure I commented or i guess replied to your comment you left on my previous comment on your last ryths video.     I feel like they're just doing these updates so they can have barely any player account to do terrible things to the players and then there'll be no 1 to cover it because everyone left and yeah they have the 1 person and still do it which is the victim but everyone think it's just some pointless drama ever since the game died
