Hermes boots arent overrated because hermes boots are easy to get in early game and you can craft the specter and lightning boots with them, the rollerskates are better but that doesnt make hermes bad
I think that the Arctic diving gear is the most useless and time consuming equipment in the whole game, it literally gives you the same effects that potions can give you, like gills, warmth and shine potion
I dotn agree with Hermes Boots, because without that in first place, you wont get Terraspark Boots, and as a plus Roller Skates are just as RNG based as Bundle Of Horseshoe Balloons and Ankh Shield. Like you need a traveling merchant or a skeleton merchant and hope they sell one, Hermes Boots still wins
Fun fact if you really hate debuffs but cant put ankh shield to your precious accessorie slots you can just left click 2 times and debuffs will be gone and you will still have the accessorie you want
this Bundle of Horseshoe Balloons slander will not stand.
it takes a lot of work, but, you can literally just skip wings. the only time I've used wings in my last few playthroughs is on For The Worthy 4:52 – and that's only for Empress of Light and Moon Lord – or on mining or fishing loadouts.
of course, if you're not going to spend a lot of time on the world, they probably don't make a lot of sense, but, if you pick up the Sandstorm, you'll probably get all the extra balloons needed via shimmering Balloon Pufferfish that you'll get while fishing for potion ingredients.
