This immediately caught my attention. I just noticed that the new cushions actually adjust their height based on the block they're placed on. The left one is on a path block, and the right one is on a grass block. Such a tiny detail, but it looks so good.

We builders ARE EATTING WELL!! Imagine these can be put in the loom for even more designs not likely but fun to imagine

  2. It would be great if snow behaved like this too (and could be placed on stairs)!

Oh, and by the way, this works with any block in general. I first noticed it with the path block since cushions can generate at campsites, too!

  4. Wait I made a comment about “pillows” I had in a fever dream a month ago. Is it coming true???

This mechanic should be retroactively added to all the other blocks that would benefit from it. It’d be so brilliant!

This is amazing. But since they’re an entity, too many can cause lag I imagine.

Proof that mojang can add two slabs in the same block space, they just choose not to

…. oh god, this might be funny for the world’s least steep staircase.

  9. Not a detail just a quirk on how it works. It’s an entity, it just falls, like an armor stand

Now they got to get the hanging mushroom to adjust to the block above them

  11. they also don’t break immediately after you break the block underneath them. idk if thats just a snapshot thing but it could be useful in redstone. You can also use them to cover pressure plates, but they get ejected once you step on it

  12. I wonder if they will make good height platform for extraction or kill chamber.
