I noticed this in both my previous and current games. At first, my cursed mannequin changed location quite often, a handful of times per season. I'm in year 3 now, and it hasn't moved in ages (close to a year, maybe?) and the last time it moved, it was only one or two tiles over.
Do they just stop moving as much the longer you have them, or is it completely random and I've just gotten into a long phase of non-movement?

Yeah, when you un-curse them.
Toss them at the Yoba shrine in Pierre’s shop for a day.

I had a curse mannequin that stopped moving for about a year. I kept it in the “attic”.

No. If they stopped moving, they wouldn’t be cursed.
I am only theorising, but I wonder if it’s possible that the RNG picks a spot and only moves if the spot is vacant. That could explain the less movement, if your house is filling up over time?
