You can find the Dirtiest Block a lot easier doing this also since it’s X blocks in a world that can generate it so you just destroy your home island, and the shimmer island.

I do it more than I’d like.
I like to leave the mountains, the beaches, and many other places untouched in my main world. (Of course, this is only when I feel there’s an aesthetic in those places)
So when I need a lot of a certain material so as not to disturb the environment I already have in my world, I enter another world and take it from there.

Not really. But thats because I have a finished world that has like 200 hours on it where I basically have everything 4 fold. So when I need something and I cannot get it on my other world, I just eventually grab it from there. For example if I am farming for the rod of discord and have not gotten one after like 1000 kills and like 2 hours grinding. I will grab one from that world where I have 6. I might return it, I might not. Also I sometimes transfer rare or hard obtainable items to that world if I dont use them anymore… Its cool and handy to have basically maxed out world.
The only times I might create a fesh new world is if I need a lot of wood. I just go to a fresh newly create world and go crazy on every single tree.
