It is NOT 1 in 16 million, see the Wikipedia article for "birthday attack" on this. With so many people making YouTube videos, choosing colors for subtitles or intros or channel logos or whatever else, the likelihood for such a collision to occur drastically increases.
It's not impossible that the color he chose when editing is different from the color people sample when grabbing stills from his videos on YT. The video by then is already encoded twice (first by him exporting from a video editor and a second time by YT). The colors CAN change.
Why did they code the locator bar like that in the very old legacy console edition the player color was directly correlated with who joined first it was white then green then red etc I feel like they should have brought that back instead of making it based on the uuid of the account
