Minecraft Locator Bar 1 in 16.777 Million Chance Happening??

Minecraft accounts will forever have the same color of locator bar, and Yahiamice claims theirs EXACTLY matches their subtitle color. Does it??

  1. ok, what's the math for the chance of the color being close to a color of choice? like if my preferred color is a light green, what's the chance that my uuid makes a generally light green color?

  2. Hey Ant! I hope you're doing alright; I know you've been dealing with a lot of mental health troubles over the years and… It's just never easy juggling that sorta stuff with running a YouTube channel.

I got back into watching your videos again recently (including some of the older ones; in fact, rewatching your old Ant Farm Survival videos actually prompted me to dust off that map and replay it again for the first time in a while), and it's been a lotta fun just… Kinda reliving my childhood and stuff.

Always remember to prioritize whatever is best for your health, and I hope you have a good day!

  3. It is NOT 1 in 16 million, see the Wikipedia article for "birthday attack" on this. With so many people making YouTube videos, choosing colors for subtitles or intros or channel logos or whatever else, the likelihood for such a collision to occur drastically increases.

  4. It's not impossible that the color he chose when editing is different from the color people sample when grabbing stills from his videos on YT. The video by then is already encoded twice (first by him exporting from a video editor and a second time by YT). The colors CAN change.

  5. Why did they code the locator bar like that in the very old legacy console edition the player color was directly correlated with who joined first it was white then green then red etc I feel like they should have brought that back instead of making it based on the uuid of the account
