I'd actually suggest Fire Quartz instead, since it's an easy source of Refined Quartz, and Fabric is a horrible deal, considering how much fabric you get from just actually killing mummies using bombs, which you should already have dozens if not hundreds of if you're going for a full skull cavern day.

I like having at least 1 earth crystal generator since I HATE getting those things in the mines, but I do love my mayo empire
