theory: salt is in an endless loop of minecraft civillizations where he is tormented to his breaking point because of his "friends" being in danger. we can see honey saying "not another one" and at the end of mob soul civilization, there are 2 beings which are most likely doing this for their amusement. his "friends" know something about him being special in every civilization but they could also just be part of the loop. this theory is somewhat simillar to the aot plot, of endless war and hatred.
