I've always felt that the vanilla game didn't encourage building enough, despite it being one of the oldest mechanics, I tried to fix it with this pack.

  1. Cool ig, but it kinda just feels like “Minecraft but we made it 100x more tedious for realism” from the description

Very cool pack, I like all the design elements listed. Have you considered letting mobs break blocks on higher difficulties? Or some other way to make it so you can’t just set up a dirt wall day one and be completely safe.

  3. Not bad. You make some very intentional changes to the game here:

    – transporting water with real physics is a good incentive
    – requiring animals to have grass and room is a nice touch, I am not sure how effectively this is enforced though

    – keeping villagers taken care of is also nice.

While I like the changes in spirit, I have to wonder if the advanced restrictions really makes it more fun for players:

    – no sleeping – well now you’re just waiting out the night if it’s dangerous, or being shot by a skele while trying to bridge the roof for your house.

    – mobs and villagers – now players have to be more intentional about taking care of them, but is there a nice gameplay curve here? Like can I still get a little bit benefit for low effort farming when it’s early game and I don’t have the resources to dedicate – then do I get proportional more benefits later when I can afford to be intentional about my farms? Or is it just higher barrier to entry and the same runaway value proposition after medium level of effort

    – elytra’s people have kinda tasted the forbidden fruit here, I don’t know how you can still give players the dopamine of getting and using an elytra while keeping it balanced , but its a meaningful question

  4. I like the idea of this pack, feels like something i’have been searching for, will definitely try it out
