Rapid Magic Quiver. Does the best job for me of keeping enemies off my back while I’m trying to navigate the Skull Cavern and Volcano.

Basilisk Paw for me, just because I hate dealing with that status debuff from the ghosts in the dangerous mines.

I only use the basilisk paw. Kinda boring, but I enjoy believing my character “invincible”.

The arrows make everything so much more underwhelming when you’re dealing with a swarm of enemies. I’ll occasionally use the fairy for aesthetics

Quiver for me unless I feel like having a cute frog hopping along behind me. Quiver keeps the flying monsters at bay, I can make plenty of gold so I don’t bother with the parrot.

Never have used/found one yet.

Level 5 fairy. Ice rod. Basilisk paw for the green ghosts.

Ice wand most times (though it is annoying when I forget to take it off before tending my slime hutch), but I switch to the fairy when the dungeons are in “dangerous” mode and I don’t want to use food items.
I got both my ice wand and fairy up to Perfect (or Level 5 for the fairy) and they’re great. I only wish reforging went in some kind of order and wasn’t random like it is. It took LOTS of iridium to hit those perfects… but not like I’m using it for anything else at this point.

Ice rod made me really enjoy skull cave runs, especially for stopping the snakes, but it is annoying when the enemy gets frozen somewhere unreachable

I play a lot of Final Fantasy, so basilisk paw. It’s like the ribbon, the second I find one, I put it on and don’t ever take it off again.

Sorry since when was the Rusty Spur a useable trinket or am I being delusional

Fairy when I’m using monster musk in lower levels of dungeons
* it stops the fire breath in dinosaurs
* great if you’re speed running Skull Cavern or Volcano and don’t want to fight
* often will freeze those fast serpents when you first show up on a new level in Skull Cavern
It can be a little annoying, particularly on lava lake dragon guys and iridium crabs, but still worthwhile imo.

Parrot all day every day. That being said I wish the >!prismatic hair dye wasn’t a trinket!<

I wear the dragonscale boots so the basilisk paw is pretty good.

used to like the fairy for healing. But now that I run a Defense build I don’t need much healing, so I use Basilisk to be immune to effects

You know, I played a bit with the frog during this playthrough. I’m not gonna lie, it came in pretty clutch.
It definitely made the dangerous mines less annoying since I didn’t have to fight so many monsters at the same time. I might actually use it more often.
But usually I switch them up depending on the situation.
I’ll take the parrot for some easy money if I go to the regular mines for some reaources.
The fairy for Qi’s hungry challenge.
The ice rod for dangerous skull caverns.
Whatever I have on me for regular skull cavern dives.

Fairy most of the time, Basilisk Paw in the dangerous mines, Parrot if I don’t think I have much to worry about.

Fairy box no comparison.
I like the fairy and the parrot if I’m short on money. If I get deeper into the mines with many octopuses I take the freezing stick.
Honestly, if it’s a money run, Parrot Egg all the way. Just for gits and shiggles, I’ll either choose the frog or the fairy.
The fairy is absolutely the best, but if I haven’t found one yet I’ll go for the ice rod or the magic arrow.
Frogs I always save to put in a fish tank! I’ve never used the parrot, spur, or the claw thing.
Parrot for casual, Fairy for trying a little harder.
I wear Mermaid Boots, so the Basilisk Paw is whatever. The Frog is a problem child. I’m not in a crit build so I don’t care about the Golden Spur.
The Quiver and Ice Rod aren’t bad, but I don’t like it when enemies have their predictable movement interrupted when I’m trying to attack them.
The hair gel… is hair gel.
fairy or frog for aesthetics but i like the arrows im combat! helps me from being overwhelmed when i’m struggling with enemy swarms
For those who don’t know, trinkets are acquired after reaching max level in all skills and using the new mastery system.

Not enough love for Ice Rod here; imo.
