This is because you could play minecraft for 2 weeks and beat it pretty easily, for terraria if you beat it in 2 weeks you probably rushed it and the best thing about terraria is grind for loot, so it takes longer and by the time you finish a play through of terraria you can start a new world and it will feel fresh again since it takes longer and the progression is more dramatic, if you beat the ender dragon and then start a new world you are immediately back to doing the same stuff again. Minecraft is less re playable then terraria.
