Every year I try my hardest to beat Abigail at this dang egg hunt. I would lose 40% of the time, so I thought about a way to at least let Jaz or Vincent win.
I stood in front of Abigail for the majority of the game;leaving 10sec on the clock…..
And who wins?!?!?! Freaking ABIGAIL!!!! There is no way see got more than the others!! I habe come to the conclusion!! THE EGG HUNT IS RIGGED BY PIERRE AND LEWIS!!!
Sigh…back to the drawing board 😑

I mean, yeah it’s programmed for Abigail to win. But she’s fairly easy to beat so it’s not really “rigged”
Abigail always wins unless the player does, same as Pierre always wins the grange display if you don’t, and [Edit] Willywins the ice fishing.
Hold your action button town and just start from the bottom left area kinda sweeping around shrubs. I usually get 10 or so that way
One time I followed her for the whole egg hunt and she didn’t collect a single egg!

There’s a dialogue with Jodi that makes me lol. She says “I hope Vincent finds an egg this year” which implies that Vincent found 0 last year which makes me love the little goofus even more.

You have to COMMIT a direction and keep going. I won my first playthrough and have only lost 1 since!
Pretty sure she gets six eggs. I beat her most of the time, it’s certainly possible
