I always find the Glacierfish the hardest. Angler is BY FAR the easiest, easier than some non-legendary fish.

for me, Glacierfish is harder. it’s a bit more unpredictable in its jumps. I fished enough legends and legend IIs for fishponds that the once a file Glacierfish is like “okay lock in”.
I’m at a point now tho where none of them ever escape. it’s just how long it takes to catch

The Glacierfish consistently gives me a run for my money. The Legend was tough but I’ve had a harder time nailing a lava eel.

By the time I get to level ten, the legend is gone for me until the next year, and by then I have much better food for the job so I usually struggle more with glacier (unless I’m playing a mod then wolf snapper kicks me and takes my money)

It depends a bit on the order in which you catch them. Early on you probably don’t have the super good bait, food or double lures… The legend on spring year 1 usually is a lot harder than the legends ii you’ll be able to catch later.
Also there’s rng. Sometimes you get a legend ii that feels like a largemouth Bass, sometimes you swear it’s a legend ii but all you get is a sturgeon on steroids. But over various attempts, the difficulty rating is pretty on point
