Working on a dinosaur mod with genetics and mutant hybrids (Forge 1.20.1, early WIP)

Hi! My girlfriend and I are working on a dinosaur mod for Minecraft. It’s still early, but we wanted to share what we have so far.

What’s in the works

• Dinosaurs built with GeckoLib, each with its own model, animations and behaviour
• A genetics system: dig up fossils, extract DNA, work in a lab and hatch embryos in an incubator
• Mutant hybrids made from parts of different species
• Colour variants (albino, melanistic), injuries, blood and particles
• …and a lot more to come. We’ll keep adding new species, mechanics and systems as the project grows.
