Not all the younger people enjoy games packed with fast paced action, it's just a matter of preference, I myself enjoy both types of games, some games I play only require a mouse to controll everything, and I'm loving them, so don't worry about not enjoying as much shooters like Doom 2016 and other similar stuff.
My mom love farming games, but shes not interested in Stardew Valley cause she dont like the grafics. Yet this game has soo much more content than the Harvest Moon and Story of Season games she play.
I looked at it on Steam, but I just don't know if I would care about it…What's the actual point in the game? You start off alone but yet somehow others just magically pop up?
I have a few recommendations of OST/game themes for you, would love to see your reaction and hear your opinion on any of them as I'm sure many others would.
Grand Theft Auto 4 – Soviet Connection
Crysis 2 Main Theme by Hans Zimmer
Mafia 2 Main Theme Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009), World War II (2017), Modern Warfare 3 (2011), Modern Warfare (2019), Modern Warfare 2 (2022), Black Ops (Pentagon), and Black Ops 2
I get it man, non competitive single player games are my go to these days. I've since left behind online battling games for more "at my own pace" gaming. Stardew Valley is a real gem, I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Stardew Valley is an AMAZING game. It's so relaxing and fun. I picked it up when I got Covid back in August of 2021 and it pretty much made my whole experience that much easier. I just sat in my room and playing it on Switch. So many good memories. It only gets better as you move along.
This is still the most calming game I’ve ever played. Or like one of my more serious gamer friends who bought and played it said, “This is some soothing shit.”
Nintendo has a lot of popular simulation game series. Animal Crossing was a huge 2020 fad.
I think your audience have mostly been steering you towards games with epic music or superb atmosphere. When it comes to new gamers, a lot of people try to get them hooked by the cinematic elements, because gameplay is so often a barrier. I think it sometimes does more harm than good.

Check out Sam Griffin Guitar’s video The Best Song In Stardew Valley. Such a great video! (And song! And performance!)

Its an amazingly fun and cute comfy game. And equally impressive, it was made by a single person.
I love to play this in family with controller. Shared tv with 4 players. Can include my father and my daughtwr… And that is priceless
