A dark wood can or even something blue like warped wood or dark prismarine works really well as a contrast

Striped birch or oak logs would provide some nice contrast. This one might be harder to get, but I think light gray or white glazed terracotta could look good. If you’re going for a dark/evil theme then maybe some red nether wood or other red color block.

I think use spruce wood planks with little places replaced in the floor with stripped spruce logs

Dark oak is great with any deepslate block. Red Nether bricks and/or crimson wood is also a good option. Polished diorite with deepslate tiles is a personal favorite of mine – it matches the shininess but contrasts the texture and it’s a nice clean “black and white” option.
Those suggestions will all have VERY different vibes from each other as well – I’m not sure which you’re going for, if it’s any of them at all

Dark oak for sure. Spruce for things decorative things like tables, benches, and/or shelves.

I think go fully contrast so do like dark oak mix in some raw gold then even see if calcite will work

Simple answer: When in doubt, use White Terracotta (it works beautifully with nearly everything).

5. Birch
6. Pink Terracotta
7. Yellow Terracotta
Dark oak wood. Deepslate bricks. But in reality you can pretty much mix and macht everything with Deepslate as dark gray is a very neutral color.
Lava
green copper is wonderful, but also other copper stages might be nice and it is a bit dwarven like cause you find copper in the mines 🙂
Deepslate bricks. Tiles for the floor and ceiling, bricks for the walls. That’s how I always do it.
bone blocks
Do some glowstone if you want lighting
stripped mangrove + smooth quartz imo
I think quartz can be really pretty
Spruce planks

Dark oka planks or stript dark oka
Quartz
I wonder if cherry logs would look cool
Fuckin everything. Love deepslate tile. Try mangrove planks. I’m not the biggest fan of red, but they work really well together.
