Thanks for the video! I always find these tips & tricks videos fascinating, because no matter how much I've played it so far, I always learn something new.
This time, I've learned two new things: I wasn't really aware that you can change the way trees fall like you've said. I always just put my back to whatever direction I didn't want it to fall and then started chopping.
Wait, you can put away an item while keeping it selected on the hotbar? That would be a literal lifesaver if the game had friendly fire. Because I keep using the secondary attack on villages after talking 😅
About the Community Center. While a Year 1 completion is a nice goal, I often think that a very early Year 2 completion is better. At least if it's going to be a late Year 1completion anyway. The friendship reward for completing the Bulletin Board (2 hearts for non-datable NPCs) is rather nice, and it's not applied to people you don't know or can't understand yet.
