Hey everyone,
I’m running into a pretty frustrating issue and wanted to check if anyone else has experienced this.
I redeemed the Copper Cape during the event through the official minecraft.net redeem page while it was still active. I have screenshots confirming that the redemption was successful at the time.
However, it’s now been over 6 months and the cape is still not showing up on my account.
What’s even stranger:
– If I try to redeem the code again, it says it’s already been redeemed
– So the system clearly registered it
– But the cape itself never appeared in-game
I reached out to support, but they basically refused to help. This is part of the response I got:
“if you are currently missing the Copper cape on either edition, we are unable to assist further.”
They also just told me to watch for future events instead… which honestly doesn’t solve the issue at all since I already redeemed this one properly.
Has anyone else had this problem with the Copper Cape? Did you manage to get it resolved somehow?
Any help or shared experiences would be really appreciated.

The same thing happened to me, I haven’t been able to find a solution. If you do I’d appreciate an update.
Dude just equip it in bedrock first. It’ll show up in java after that.
I had this happen. Go on your profile online or in the launcher (I forget which) and look for it. There is an option to grab it there. I never noticed for nearly a year with one of mine that I redeemed and support was useless. Finally just started poking around in my profiles and found it sitting there…
