Went on a quest to get the angler fishing items, saw a short about max fishing power setups, sidetracked to fishing out biome crates. I am pretty sure shimmering these ones will NOT give me hardmode ores as per the wiki but hey, I have a crate pile and stock for days. Also, that's Bart, my totally willing crate watching volunteer. Probably not
Pre-hm crates hasn’t been giving hardmore ore for a solid few patches now. If you want to do the fishing route you’re better off fishing early into hardmode.

At least it should now be easy to craft buff potions.
Yes you are, make sure to bring potions to the wall of flesh and maybe upgrade your armour a little tho if you’re in expert or master 🙂
