Well Harvey atteds it on Tuesdays and Thursdays so I’d assume they still go to work. Sandy might close earlier when you marry her and Clint just is open as usual

Imagine if you marry Clint the Dwarf takes over the Blacksmithing business, would be pretty funny to have a shop vendor that only you would understand.
Real question is, do you get a spousal discount?
Maru still goes to work on Tues/ Thurs so I assume they’ll just go to their shops when they open.

For example, when Ginger Island is open and Pierre is gone, you can still shop there with some message that pops up saying be honest. That is the worse case scenario, imo, you can shop but they just won’t be there.
Harvey goes to the clinic after you marry him
I assume it will be kinda like how Pierre does it when he goes to Ginger Island. He keeps his shop open but puts a little box on the counter to collect the money. Idk how Clint will be smashing the geodes open while not at the shop, though
It would be funny if Sandy had reduced hours and the bouncer had to take over some of her responsibilities
The same way Penny and Mary and Harvey and Sam still do their jobs after marriage. The spouses don’t stay at home all day now when they’re married, they still go into town. The only one that might get a drastic change is Sandy. If I’m remembering correctly, her shop stays open until 11. I can’t imagine my spouse being gone from 8 til 12 every single day. Maybe they’ll add the little shop box like they do for Pierre when he’s at the beach.
Sandy will take the bus, Clint will take the rails.
I am hoping Sandy just gets a schedule change and becomes more of a “real” character. She exists ONLY at her counter, where she stands from 9 to 11:30 every single day except her birthday and Desert Festival. Not very fun!
The real question is will Clint still spend all day in the community center looking at the finance if you marry him. Look i know we just got married but I still need my alone time contemplating the flame.

It bugs me when spouses give up their jobs so I’m hoping they keep them! It’s not like the kids need supervising 😅
Well one of the first things you find out about Clint is he never wanted to be a blacksmith. I feel like the story would either go he decides to sell the blacksmith shop to another blacksmith, or he learns to love his work.
If Clint could upgrade your stuff from the farm, it would be OP

Please let them still work. I like how Emily still works part time but these two are the only ones for their store. Just have Clint not hammer for hours and watch Emily at the saloon. Sandy can close her shop sooner. We don’t need them to water crops already watered by sprinklers.
I assume semilair to Harvey for Clint. I am not so sure about Sandy. Maybe she will move to Pelican town after a new upgrate. I would actually like it if she gets the trailer from pam and penny after they got their house. It can stand between the community center and the playground. Idk if she could move her job to pelican town. I am ogglin at the spa area.
But now that I think about it Clint is not really happy with his job so we might get items to replace his job completely and he can do something new. What that is? Idk the only time we see him actually being himself a bit is at the clothing therapy session and I can see him doing something in regards to tourism as he wore really vacation like clothes with that french hat and the hawaii shirt.
I have some secret wild dreams of what we could get with 1.7 (again ogglin at the spa area), but they would be too much for this post.
