hello guys today we take a look at client-side mods which means they don’t have to be installed on the server side all mods work for the latest minecraft update 1.18 and are compatible with forge and fabric starting with item border which adds colored borders to inventory slots to make your rare items stand out like the ender dragon head the totem of undying and much more by default borders are not displayed for common items but that can be enabled in the configuration file armor chroma is a mod which re-hauls the vanilla armor bar it adds different armor bar icons for different armor materials displays shine for enchantment armor and even shows different leather colors on the bar furthermore it is compatible with many mods which add armor to the game this mod allows you to easily copy paste and edit signs so you don’t have to waste your time to make identical signs anymore just copy and paste them very useful if you ask me ever feel like item tooltips are a little lackluster legendary tooltips is here to change that this mod will allow you to change the tooltips of a selection of items of your choice to be embellished works of art it also adds a host of other tool tip options including centered item names tooltip shadows matching tooltip borders to item colors and much more not enough animations brings a lot of missing third-person animations from the first person or modifies them to how they should look in the first person mode effective improves the overall minecraft experience by adding visual and auditive features to the game for example water splashes when entities fall into it which also works with lava [Music] it also adds nice looking particles to waterfalls to let them stand out more first person model enables the third person model in first person so you can experience minecraft from steve’s real perspective which looks and feels very nice in my opinion it is even compatible with other animation mods like mobens [Music] better third-person mod is a completely client-side mod that adds an independent rotation of camera from a third person view this mod replaces the usually flat second layer of player skins with a 3d modeled version it’ll automatically switch to the vanilla 2d rendering when players are further away than 12 blocks to increase the frame rate since this mod is purely visual and fully client-side it doesn’t have to be installed on servers and works everywhere replanter is a simple mod that allows players to quickly replant their fully grown crops simply right click on a fully grown crop while holding seeds and it’ll be harvested and replanted instantly did you always want to take beautiful shots of your structures or fights well then this mod is perfect for you with this mod you’re able to record replay and edit your clips in minecraft by using a built-in video creator all files are in a lightweight format which means that an average recording over one hour is less than 10 megabytes large this mod makes life so much easier by adding the ability to swap between the chest plate and the elytra on a keystroke the default keybind is the grave accent but it can be changed in the options chess tracker is a mod that remembers where you have put items open your inventory and click the magnifying glass icon to search for specific items you got in your chests it now highlights the chance your items are in [Music] press y when hovering over an item to search directly to forget a chance that you have opened hold shift and click the magnifying glass besides that when you are renaming a chest or other containers in an anvil it will display the name over the block which also fully works on vanilla servers the mod itself is pretty simple you only need to place your mouse above the slot you want to lock and press the slot lock keybind which is left alt by default locked slots cancel every key press that tries to interact with it so you can’t accidentally throw an item you need in the trash or store something in a chest you’ll need later this mod basically does what it stands for it moves items in inventory smoothly instead of letting them appear instantly when shift-clicking or using the hotbar keybinds to move items in an inventory they will travel from their old inventory slot to the new one [Music] this mod will automatically reel in and recast your fishing rod when you catch a fish just cast the fishing rod one time into the water and let the mod do the rest by pressing the default key v you can open a gui for changing individual settings for example you can toggle the entire mod on or off or enable brake protection which ignores fishing rods once they’re almost broken which is useful if you have an enchanted fishing rod and you don’t want it to be broken this mod speeds up trading with villagers a lot clicking a trade will execute this trade once shift clicking a trade will execute it as often as possible until either the villager locks the trade or you run out of trading materials and control clicking the trade will prepare but not execute it pretty useful in my opinion [Music] this mod overlays the number of seconds left of the status effect or the number of minutes on the vanilla status effect indicator if the effect has an amplifier for example haste 2 the amplifier is also overlaid a very simple and minimalistic mod have you ever wanted to see what’s in a shulker box without placing it down and opening it with this mod installed you can move your cursor over a shulker box to see what’s inside [Music] better foliage renewed is a port of the original batter foliage mod which is unfortunately incompatible with 1.18 it overhauls the cactus adds better grass and snow [Music] it even adds falling leaves and improves the lily pads to make them look more natural furthermore souls are rising out of the soul sand in the nether [Music] controlling adds the ability to search for keybinds using their name in the keybinding menu which allows
