I'm trying to figure out the best way to make 1900's style kerosene lamp (second image) and all I can come up with is end rods, but it doesn't have the right feeling
I'd prefer it to be block based or armor stand based, but if needed I can work with tile entities.
Third image is the build: Arkham Sanitarium, Arkham MA.

My first thought would be to just place a normal or light gray stained glass pane, debug it so it’s not connected to anything, then use display entities or armor stands to put a skeleton skull or custom head below it to act as the base. Not many good ways to really make something that compact without heavy custom head use.
I had a similar dilemma a while back when trying to make a wall-mounted lamp with a black covering. Ended up just making a player head texture for it and clipping it half way into a wall, all the block-based solutions didn’t feel right. So if all else fails, that may be worth looking into. With a few custom head textures and a bit of display entity scaling and deformation, you might be able to make a super convincing version with a bit of elbow grease.
