Is this wide enough to prevent biome spread? It goes to hell and has no walls the whole way down

  1. It will still somehow end up corrupting or hallowing the entire map anyways 😭 hardmode evil biome always goes straight to the most inconvenient possible spots I swear.

  2. 3 blocks is enough for hallow (crimson and corruption are more troublesome because of thorns). Also, walls don’t spread biome, so no need to remove them.

  3. 6 blocks wide and lined with smooth stone or stone bricks. Had to be something that can stop the spread. Also, destroy background tiles for spider areas you find, even after walling everything off the spider webs will continue to grow on the background tiles and stop your fall.

Beautiful! Now line it with brick, hay, something crafted besides stone or dirt. That stops vines. It only requires like 3-4 bricks across. Walls do not spread it. My world has a couple of hellavators because i hate the biome spread too. Completely possible to contain, especially if you build them before hardmode.

  5. Honest words: It is wide enough, but you need more than that. Thorny Bushes can grow and spread evil biome over the gap. You should put non corruptible block to barricade it, such as gray brick. If you feel rich, you can also put Chlorophyte brick in the barricade once you have it in hardmode, which will prevent biome spread near the gap (note: Crimson and Corruption biome spread has different interaction with Chlorophyte, Chrolophyte only prevent Corruption spread in the jungle, but can prevent Crimson spread everywhere.)

  6. Breaker breaker *phzzzzzt* op come in. Have you realized the only truly safe way is to leave a single pillar of each biome and nothing else? Op come in! *phzzzt* do you copy?!
