Not entirely terraria Related but I once saw a similar ad for a different mobile game but instead of Terraria assets they were just straight up playing the Sims 4 with custom content.
From memory they did not disclose that the game in the ad was the sims 4.

Thereās quite a few Minecraft bedrock marketplace mods that use Terraria sprites, so this isnāt unheard of. Not any less asset/art stealing though.
