You can change the names of barn/coop animals if it really bothers you. Or just embrace it. Animals don’t have a concept of gender, much less pixel animals. They don’t care

Listen, all stardew valley livestock is clearly beyond our biological comprehension. All cows and goats produce milk, all chickens lay eggs and reproduce asexually. Rabbits shed their feet regularly. The fish talk and politely request precious gemstones and explosives as part of their reproductive cycle. For all we know there are 77 different genders of pig and they all go by Hubert.

My irl little chiweenie girl answers mainly to Kevin Bartholomew if it makes you feel any better. Her names actually peanut, but that’s just the way of the road sometimes
