I used to play Stardew valley like 4 years ago (2022) but that was back then and my phone didn't survive that, so I'm looking to play a new game just like stardew valley, it's fine if it's not mainly focused on farming but anything similar. I'm currently playing Potion permit and harvest moon, Potion permit is rlly good but it's kinda lacking like almost everything and it's grindy, Harvest moon is actually sooo cute (imagine somewhat related)

Fields of Mistria, Moonstone Island
Fields of Mistria, idk if this counts but I also like Slime Rancher (the first game)
Harvest Moon was the blueprint for Stardew so I would say anything of those games. I also like Story of Seasons, which branched out from Harvest Moon. Coral Island is pretty fun too and has some updates that are waiting to be released later on that will allow for children to grow up. My personal favorite farming games would be Story of Seasons.
Chef rpg, which should leave ea soon.
Less farming, more cooking, interesting style.
Not on the same level, but definitely worth a try
If you liked the whole fighting monsters part in stardew you can check out Rune Factory 4. It’s got farming too but it’s a means to an end from my experience.
Yes. Replaying stardew valley
Roots of Pacha, fields of Mistria.
I’d recommend Kynseed, though the Farming system is much less complex.
Grimshire is Stardew but with a horror twist, stressful as hell but also super cool and imo offers some neat improvements (for instance villagers helping with big projects). If you want something similar but more challenging and with a great atmosphere I recommend it
Meanwhile Shinehill is a fairly lengthy Stardew like game where you play as an alien trying to blend in, it’s pretty cool and has a surprising amount of content – they also do a pretty decent job with the character cutscenes if that’s your speed, though imo need more dialogue for the day to day/more gift diversity
Sun Haven is more fantasy SV where there are elves and merpeople and demons
Coral Island, Dinkum!
Elden Ring
Graveyard Keeper
Coral Island, and it still has a lot of updates going on, next update could be any day now and the big update after that has all the kids growing up including your own. Plus it has mermaids.
yes its called stardew valley
Harvest moon (sorry for the seeminly obvious answer but I heard the one on the gamecube is awesome and you can have spouses in that game as far as I know and I honestly really wanna try playing it myself.
Also there’s a game called Fae Farm on Steam that I liked playing. I have some DLC for it too but I think it would be way more fun if I had people to play it with so I dropped it.
Fields of Mistria probably? Check out [ArgonMatrix](https://www.youtube.com/@ArgonMatrix). They main SDV, but they’ve played a fair bit of Mistria
Cosy Island is lite a “modern” Stardew, as in 3D-graphics and more to do and see.
It’s definitely a game every Stardew-fan should try.
And its free on PS Plus.
Fear & hunger
I’m finding Pokopia to be quite similar
Travellers Rest is a pub sim with a lot of SDV elements. Farm, mine, craft, cook and brew, stock your tavern, hire staff, expand into an inn. A few extra quests and storyline to follow.
re-playing Stardew Valley(?)
Wylde Flowers is kinda similar but you’re a witch and there’s magic, too. It’s cute and cozy.
Cloud Meadow it’s very wholesome
Graveyard keeper
not exacly similar but – graveyard keeper
The closest thing is modded Stardew Valley. I would say Ridgeside Village in particular.
Coral Island
This game is incredible it’s beautiful and is extremely similar to stardew Valley and equally as good! And there’s a few unique twists in there that keep it JUST different enough to stardew that they don’t tread on each other
If you liked the combat then Cult of the Lamb is an excellent game. It has farming, fishing, combat and town decorating, and tons of management to become the best cult leader. The humor obviously is very dark so it is not for a deeply religious person. And the cult members can die various ways so that can be not for everyone.
Is minecraft too different? I love switching between the 2
Corekeeper
Grimshire is a similar one in early access. Without giving too much away, there’s a disaster going on, and you’re farming not simply to make money, but to keep your town alive. Failing to do so has…consequences.
Now that makes it sound like its just a super dark Stardew, but the game has so much charm to it, and the characters really are precious and awesome, and it has a really nice atmosphere. If anything it makes you want to protect them all the more
Stardew valley with mods
Multiple comments say Graveyard Keeper but it’s quite the opposite of SDV. It’s a grindfest that doesn’t respect your time, doesn’t reward you and isn’t really that much fun (I put 70 hours in, most of it was frustrating).
